Abstract

The article covers the issues of preserving ethnicity, namely, language policy in Finno-Ugric regions. The authors provide evidence of existing conflict between ethnolinguistic attitudes of the key ethnic groups in these regions. The opinion is substantiated that language problems can be solved by establishing multiculturalism in politics and public opinion.
