Abstract

The paper deals with the definitions of “online identity”, “Internet community” and their interpretations in foreign linguistics. In addition, it touches upon the basic aspects of user interaction in virtual communication, especially the process of establishing their relationships, as well as the issues of creation and functioning of Internet communities.
