Abstract

The article describes legal principles of public control in contemporary Russia. The analysis of the data in the reports of the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation for 2010, 2011 and 2012 helped identify main development trends and problems of the system of public control over state authorities. Proposals are made to ensure independence, obligatory character, publicity, and integrity of public control in Russia.
