Abstract

The article is devoted to the understanding of the phenomenon of childhood under the philosophical religious views of Russian Orthodox thinkers. Orthodox pedagogy and the views of its representatives on the nature of childhood are considered, on the one hand, as a unique phenomenon of the national culture, and on the other, as part of a global trend towards recognition of childhood as the most important part of human life and humanity.
