Abstract

This article is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the journal Vestnik of Northern (Arctic) Federal University and covers key milestones of its development as well as presents scientists and specialists of Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov (formerly, Pomor State University) involved in the journal’s establishment, development and promotion in the scientific world. In addition, the article dwells on the publication’s achievements and points out the potential of the three journals that developed from the original Vestnik: Arctic Environmental Research, Journal of Medical and Biological Research, and Vestnik of Northern (Arctic) Federal University.
