Abstract

This paper covers the results of the international scientific conference on the history of Russian emigration that took place in Novi Sad (Serbia) in December 2019 as part of the Russia Days in Serbia. The author analyses the reports made at this conference, examines the role and significance of Russian emigration in the life of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes / Yugoslavia in the 1920s – 1940s, as well as Russian-Yugoslavian relations and their historical lessons. In conclusion, the article points out the importance of this international scientific conference for further Russian-Serbian collaboration and mutual understanding in the spheres of science and culture.
