Abstract

This article discusses the problem of preserving human nature in the context of globalization of modern civilization from the perspective of V.I. Vernadsky’s teaching on the biosphere and the noosphere. It was shown that the pollution of natural ecosystems in the course of human activities disrupts the migration of atoms of biogenic and toxic chemical elements in the biosphere and leads to environment-related diseases. The artificially created Cherepovets technogeochemical anomaly is given as an example. The philosophical aspect of this problem is considered from the viewpoint of preserving natural biogeochemical cycles in the biosphere, since this topic is related to the processes of transformation of the living and non-living matter. Further, a new philosophical concept of maladaptogenesis is introduced, which is understood as the process of emergence and development of maladaptations in humans under the influence of socio-natural and man-made environmental factors. The mechanism of maladaptogenesis in the anthroposphere, which emerged in the era of globalization due to the intensive development of new technologies and advances in medicine, is discussed. From this point of view, the scientific and philosophical aspects of human evolution and natural selection are considered. A concern is expressed about the adverse effects of the technosphere and the scientific and technological advances on the course of human evolution. In addition, a brief philosophical analysis of the literature on human nature is presented and the ethical aspect of this issue is considered. A conclusion is made about the importance of the rational use of natural resources in order to save the humankind in the biosphere and prevent adverse effects of man-made activities on the nature and the society. The author believes that the analysis of the processes of maladaptogenesis in the anthroposphere will introduce a new and very promising line of research in social philosophy.
